Wood Spirit Faces

These faces are carved out of red cedar and range in size from 24″ – 30″ and have been wood burned and finished with 3-4 coats of clear exterior varnish. 2 Eagles

I did this carving 12 years ago for a customer as a memorial for his wife. The bottom got bugs and rot in it so I cut it off and added a well painted new base. This will be good for a lot  more years now and it’s a good idea to put a carving on a patio block and check the bottom and keep the base protected.
